Happy almost Valentine’s Day!!!

Who will be your Valentine’s on Feb. 14th?
My husband and daughter will “Be Mine”.

Every year for Valentine’s Day I make my family a card. This year is no exception to ask them to “Be Mine” on Valentine’s day.

I had a lot of fun making this card with these rich colors and dramatic paper line from Bo Bunny Serenity collection and a sketch I found on Page Maps and after I have given my card to my family this Valentine’s Day, it will be going in the souvenir card box.

First I cut the red cardstock to standard card size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Embossed and distressed the black black Serenity paper with a pattern embossing folder and lightly brushed over raised image with picket fence distressing ink. Layering and distressing the red damask pattern paper on top and with ribbon, hearts and embellishments. Sewed around each edge to give a finished look.

Inside the card I cover the inside with the reverse side of the red damask pattern paper with the polka dot damask pattern. Layered one of the good fortune stickers in the middle with Serenity jewels as my message inside my card.

I hope you all have a wonderful soon to be Valentine’s Day and this card will give you inspiration to make one or two for your special Valentine.

Thank you for stopping by,
