Hello… Today is February 7th, 2013. My birthday I am 30 something years old today
Every year everyone starts making their New Year’s resolutions either before or after New Year’s Day. For me I give myself one extra month and change before committing to my New Year’s resolutions. I believe I started this tradition when I was in high-school, good thing my birthday is not in July.
I have been an Ali Edwards fan since my first Creating Keepsakes Convention in 2006 I believe. I am finally catching on to all her stuff. One of the things I was inspired by that I saw floating around on twitter and blogs in late December and early January was everyone was picking their ONE LITTLE WORD.
What is one little word? I found a brief description on the Big Picture Classes website:
A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow. From my own personal experience, it can be a catalyst for enriching your life. – Ali Edwards Est. 2006
What is my ONE LITTLE WORD 2013 – Starting February 7, 2013

Interesting word for a New Year’s resolution?
Since a resolution is changing something already to do different or maybe just complete a goal.
For 2013 CHANGE is going to mean:
I want to CHANGE how often I blog – meaning more.
I want to CHANGE how I scrapbook and craft.
I want CHANGE how I send out snail mail = more cards out!
I want to CHANGE how I eat.
I want to CHANGE how I exercise and wake-up in the morning.
I want to CHANGE how I react with people or communicate.
I want to CHANGE how I procrastinate on how I do things or not submit for stuff.
I want to CHANGE my confidence, I KNOW I CAN DO IT!
I want to CHANGE a lot for the better and CHANGE for me means big steps that I am ready to CHANGE in my late 30′s and want to accomplish. A good quote I know is you can only CHANGE if you WANT to. I WANT to CHANGE.
For my reminder I have made this great cup with the word CHANGE etched on the glass, when I drink my coffee every morning it will be there for me know what new CHANGE I will accomplish that day.

Thank you and Happy New Year Scrappin Posse style!
Hope you have pick a ONE LITTLE WORD for 2013 too.
